How do I create a twibe?

How To Create A Twibe

Twitter users can create up to three twibes. To create a twibe of your own, first choose a name for your twibe. Once you’ve chosen a good name, go to this page and type it into the box and click “Create.” If the name has already been taken, a message will appear on the right-hand side of the page.

If the group name is available, a new browser window will open up and your Twitter page will appear. Check the text box on this page – you should see a message with your new twibe’s URL in it. You can change or edit this message, but the full URL as it appears in the text box must be included in your tweet in order for Twibes to register the group properly.

Can I add a background to our twibe page?
Yes. Click “Edit,” then “Design,” then “Change background image”. Images must be smaller than 800k and GIF, JPG, or PNG format. By uploading, you certify that you have the right to distribute this image and that it does not violate the Membership Agreement.

If you’ve created a twibe but you can’t find it, go here. (Please note that it takes about 24 hours for a twibe to get up and running on Twibes, because of how Twibes uses the Twitter search function in order to populate a twibe’s tweet stream.)
